Our Story
Northern Core Media was founded in 2026 because of two passions. Real estate and visual storytelling.
I have always loved architecture, beautiful homes, and the way great photography and video can tell a story. As a kid, I was fascinated by photography but did not own a camera until I worked out a trade with a family member. That opportunity sparked a passion that eventually led me into photography and videography. I first created content for an ecommerce business before discovering my love for real estate media.
As I spent more time in the industry, I noticed something was missing.
Most agents had beautiful listing photos, but very few were using video to build their own brand. The marketing focused entirely on the property instead of helping buyers and sellers connect with the person representing it.
That is where Northern Core Media is different.

Meet the founder
Hi, I am Jared Hobson, founder of Northern Core Media.
Real estate has always fascinated me because every property has a story to tell. Combining that passion with photography and filmmaking has allowed me to build a business centered around helping agents present both their listings and themselves at the highest level.
Outside of real estate media, I am also a musician, which probably explains why I am especially particular about selecting music that matches the emotion and pace of every cinematic listing film.
Whether we are photographing a starter home or producing a luxury listing film, my goal is always the same. Create media that helps your listings stand out and helps your business continue to grow.
